He/she is responsible for implementing the staff policy in terms of staff regulations, recruitment, management of salaries and benefits, training, promotion, mobility and career plan, in keeping with the diversity of the members of the organisation, their various postings, the regulations governing their work and the labour code. Main duties and responsibilities more details Vacancy announcement Communications Officer Terms of reference Place: Dakar, Senegal Post description The Communications Officer is a member of the international team of the Enda Tiers Monde Executive Secretariat; He/she is responsible for implementing the new communications policy of the organisation following from the General Policy Document (GPD - 2009). He/she shall develop the most appropriate strategies to: (a) support the activities of the Multimedia Resource Centre, (b) enhance the management and dissemination of information and (c) relaunch the production and dissemination of the organisation's key publications. To that end, he/she shall coordinate a “communication, information and publication unit”. more details
